Platform Use

Platform Terms of Use

Use the platform responsibly

Okay Business is a business management platform. Use each feature for genuine business activity and keep the information you enter accurate and up to date.

Business data

Your workspace may contain customers, suppliers, products, sales, purchases, staff, finance, production, delivery and other operational records. Review important records before relying on them for business, tax or legal decisions.

User access

Give staff only the permissions they need. Remove access when a staff member leaves or changes role. Do not share one password between multiple people where individual accounts are available.

POS and sales

Check product, quantity, price, discount, tax, payment method and customer details before completing a sale. Correct mistakes promptly using the available return, adjustment or edit process.

Inventory and purchasing

Stock figures depend on the transactions entered into the platform. Record purchases, production, transfers, returns and adjustments accurately so inventory remains useful.

Finance and reports

Reports are based on data entered into the system. They are management tools and should not be treated as professional accounting, tax, audit or legal advice.

Customer information

Only collect customer information you genuinely need. Do not use customer phone numbers, addresses or other details for unrelated marketing without an appropriate basis or permission.

Directory and portfolio

Public information must be truthful, relevant and suitable for general audiences. Do not claim certifications, reviews, prices, locations or services that you cannot reasonably support.

Files and media

Upload only files you have the right to use. Do not upload malware, illegal content, intimate content without consent, stolen material or files designed to attack the platform.

Fair use

Do not use automated scripts, scraping, excessive requests or other methods that may overload, copy or interfere with Okay Business without permission.

Support and troubleshooting

When reporting a problem, provide enough information to reproduce it but never send passwords, banking PINs or OTPs.

Account responsibility

You are responsible for regularly reviewing your account, keeping recovery information current and maintaining any backups or exports your business reasonably needs.

Using the platform as a team

Business owners should create appropriate staff roles instead of sharing the owner password. Give each person only the permissions they need and remove access promptly when a staff member leaves or changes role.

Backups and exports

We maintain platform backups for service continuity, but a backup is not a substitute for your own important business records. Use available export or reporting tools where appropriate and keep copies of records you are legally or operationally required to retain.

Third-party services

Links, maps, messaging services, payment channels or other external services may have their own terms, availability and privacy rules. Okay Business is not responsible for outages or decisions made by an independent third-party provider.
